The Ravenswood Community Centre is now officially open.
The facility, opened by Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke, features a clubroom, kitchen, storerooms, meeting room and change rooms with showers and toilets.
The outdoor area consists of an alfresco, playground and play area with the centred designed to prioritise accessibility.
The State Government funded $1.3 million of the project while the Shire of Murray and Alcoa invested a further $150,000.
“In rapidly growing communities like Ravenswood, it’s essential to have modern spaces that cater to diverse needs. Our investment in the Ravenswood Community Centre showcases this commitment," Regional Development Minister Don Punch said.
“This facility is not only functional, but also represents the collective effort and dedication of everyone involved. With this new centre, Ravenswood has a resource that will enrich its community for years to come.”
