Local community groups are encouraged to register in the City of Rockingham Christmas Parade.
Returning for the second time, the parade will commence at 5.30pm on Saturday December 7, departing from the Village Green and joining the celebrations on the Foreshore at 6.30pm.
City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels said the parade presented an opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate the festive season.
“The Christmas Parade is one of the biggest and brightest events of the summer and will consist of both walking groups and floats/wheeled transport,” Mayor Sammels said.
“All community groups are encouraged to apply and can include musical or dance groups, roaming entertainment and costumes, emergency services vehicles and school and not-for-profit groups.
“Participants in last year’s event were all thrilled to be involved in this community event with many returning again this year, so I encourage interested community groups to register for the 2019 Christmas Parade as soon as possible, you don’t want to miss out.”

Registrations close 4pm on Friday October 25.
