Police will today continue the search for the missing fishermen, which began around 10.30pm last night.
At approx. 9.00 pm yesterday evening, Thursday 4th October 2018, family members have contacted Police regards their concern that four men who had left Cockburn Sound to go fishing at Rottnest Island the night before, in a 5.5 metre boat/vessel, have failed to return home.
No emergency calls have yet been received from any of the occupants on board.
The search continues today with 3 helicopters, 9 vessels and the AMSA Jet.
On board the boat are a 50 year old man from Coodanup, his brother who is in his forties, the 24 year old son of the 50 year old man, and a 31 year old male family member.
Water Police would like to hear from anyone who may have been boating at Rottnest Island yesterday and observed a white 5.5 metre vessel with four persons on board.
