The Serpentine Jarrahdale Christmas Lights Competition winners have been revealed, with a collection of dazzling displays taking out the top gongs for 2023.
A record field of entries added a special sparkle to SJ this festive season, with winners crowned across four different categories.
Best First Time Entry went to 16 Malarkey Road, Byford, while the Best Overall Display went to 901 South Western Highway, Byford.
The Public Choice Best Christmas Lights Display also went to 901 South Western Highway, Byford while the Best Decorated Street was awarded to Blackberry Ramble, Byford.
More than 2000 votes were submitted to the public choice awards, while Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale President Rob Coales and Community Bank Byford & Districts Chairman Jake Branley awarded the judges choice categories.
President Coales thanked all competition entrants for helping to spread festive cheer across Serpentine Jarrahdale this holiday season.
“This competition continues to grow with more and more residents lighting up our streets every Christmas,” President Coales said.
“It’s fantastic to see our community getting on board and spreading joy over the holidays. I’ve been blown away by the calibre of entries in this year’s competition and can’t wait to see it continue to grow into the future.”
Competition winners will share in a total $3,750 worth of cash prizes.
It’s not too late to catch a glimpse of all the displays entered into the competition.
