Mandurah Detectives are currently investigating three linked incidents that occurred last night, Monday, 13 April 2020.
Mandurah Detectives, with the assistance of officers from Regional Operations Group and Forensic specialists, are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding three linked incidents that occurred between 7.15pm and 10.30pm last night, Monday, 13 April 2020.
• Several shots were fired into a telephone box located on Waterside Drive in Dudley Park.
• A group of 3-4 people driving a sedan, forced entry into a house on Steerforth Street in Coodanup. The offenders threatened the occupants, demanding money and/or drugs before assaulting a male occupant (in his 40s) who received critical injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital. It is believed the offenders discharged a firearm before leaving.
• A group of 3-4 people driving a sedan, forced entry into a house on Killarny Street in Meadow Springs. The offenders threatened the occupants, demanding money and/or drugs before assaulting a male occupant (in his 30s) who received serious injuries and was conveyed Peel Health Campus. It is believed the offenders discharged a firearm before leaving.
At the present time, both men are in hospital and are expected to make full recoveries.
Detectives ask anyone living in the above areas to check their CCTV for any suspicious activity and anyone who was driving along the above locations between 7.45pm and 10.30pm, who has dash-cam footage is asked to come forward.
