A couple aged in their 90s have been robbed and assaulted at their southern suburbs home.
Police say the 90-year-old man and woman woke to find three men in the front room of their South Lake home around 1.30am on Wednesday.
During the ordeal, the woman was hit in the face and received bruising to her face, foot, arms and hands.
The offenders also threw items from the house at the elderly man, hitting him in the head causing a cut.
The trio then fled the Labyrinth Way home on foot shortly after.
St John Ambulance attended the home and conveyed the victims to Fiona Stanley Hospital where they are currently undergoing treatment of their injuries.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone with information regarding this incident or who might have seen a group of males wearing hooded jumpers in the Bibra Lake/South Lake area.
