A surf life saving buggy has been stolen in Shoalwater at the weekend.
The All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), used to deliver vital life saving services at Penguin Island, was taken from a shipping container near the Rockingham Wild Encounters building on Arcadia Drive on Friday night.
It is the second time the buggy has been stolen.
William Dwyer from Surf Life Saving WA told Nine News the theft makes it harder for lifesavers to do their job.
"It has a huge negative impact on our ability to provide a life saving service here at Penguin Island," he said.
Other first aid equipment and fuel was also stolen.
Rockingham Police are investigating.
