An 18-year-old man has suffered a head injury after being hit by a car in Mandurah.
It's understood the teenager was with a group of people who were crossing the road on Mandurah Terrace around 12.30pm on Monday when he was struck.
The vehicle, believed to be a white Toyota Rav4, did not stop and continued north along Mandurah Terrace.
Witnesses at the scene say the driver crossed onto the wrong side of the road before hitting the teenager.
The victim was taken to Peel Health Campus by ambulance.
The vehicle is believed to be missing a wing mirror and has damage to its windscreen.
