An 18-year-old man has died in a horror crash in Port Kennedy.
Police say the teen was driving a silver Holden Commodore sedan south along Warnbro Sound Avenue around 7.40pm on Tuesday when he crashed into a tree near Halliburton Avenue.
It's understood a member of the public dragged the young driver from the vehicle before it burst into flames.
Several nearby residents reported hearing a loud explosion.
The 18-year-old suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Rockingham Hospital where he later died.
