Three people have been charged over a firearm incident in Oakford overnight.
A 33-year-old man was allegedly sending threatening text messages to a 30-year-old woman throughout the night.
Around 11.30pm he attended a house on Thomas Road where she was staying and demanded to see her while brandishing a firearm.
He then allegedly fired a round.
A 25-year-old man then came out of the house and also allegedly fired a round.
Police were called and the 33-year-old man was taken into custody.
No one was injured during the incident.
The man from Kelmscott has been charged with discharging a firearm to cause fear, possessing a firearm with circumstances of aggravation, possessing unlicensed ammunition and threatening to kill.
He will appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
A 25-year-old man of Oakford has been charged with discharging a firearm to cause fear, possessing a firearm with circumstances of aggravation and possessing unlicensed ammunition.
He will appear in the Armadale Magistrates Court on June 28.
A 51-year-old woman has been charged with failing to ensure safe-keeping of a firearm and ammunition.
She will appear in court at a later date.
