Train services resume following Cooloongup car crash

Train services have resumed after a car fell 10 metres onto the tracks in Cooloongup.

Emergency crews were called to the scene near Ennis Avenue and Elanora Drive around 1.20pm on Saturday.

Witnesses told Nine News the 58-year-old driver became trapped after he reversed straight through a fence, plunging onto the train tracks.

Firefighters managed to free the man, who was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with minor injuries.

Trains between Rockingham and Mandurah were cancelled for several hours but have since resumed.
