A man and woman have been rushed to hospital following a serious crash on the Kwinana Freeway in Karnup.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash near Paganoni Road around 11.15pm on Tuesday.
The RAC rescue helicopter airlifted the driver, a 45-year-old man, to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
A 24-year-old female passenger was also taken to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.
Police say inquiries are continuing into the crash.
The Kwinana Freeway was closed in both directions for over five hours causing major delays for motorists on Wednesday morning.
