A 23-year-old woman will be forced to pay nearly $8,000 in fines after she plead guilty to organising a gathering which became out of control in February.
The Warnbro woman entered a guilty plea of organising a gathering which became an out of control gathering and was ordered to pay court fees of $197.85, along with $2717.70 in compensation costs to Police and a fine of $5000.
Authorities attended the house in Warnbro February 24, to clear an alleged out of control gathering of around 100-130 people who were consuming alcohol.
The crowd was hostile toward Police and numerous rocks were thrown at officers.
Acting Superintendent Mark Ridley of State Operations Division said the community should feel reassured.
"WA Police will continue to pursue and prosecute people organising out of control gatherings and the penalty reflects how serious the courts view these type of offences," he said.
"If you are considering hosting a party, particularly with the summer period approaching, please be aware of your responsibilities, which are detailed on the WA Police website."
