Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged three people after 3kg of methylamphetamine was seized in the Perth metropolitan area.
The huge haul was allegedly found inside a black Infiniti Q50 which was stopped by police in Perth on Tuesday afternoon.
Police will allege 3.079kg of the drug was concealed inside green tea packaging.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and a search warrant was executed at his house, where further items of interest were located.
The seized drugs are worth around $1.2 million at wholesale level and $3 million at street level.
The investigation continued, resulting in detectives arresting four further people in the Perth metropolitan area.
During those arrests just under $100,000 cash was seized.

He was refused bail and appeared in the Armadale Magistrates Court today and is next due to appear in the same court on September 1.
A 32-year-old man from has been charged with selling or supplying or offering to sell or supply a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine, possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property ($20,000.00 cash); and no authority to drive.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today and is next due to appear in the same court on September 3.
A 40-year-old man has been charged with possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property ($78,098.85 cash) and two counts of unlawfully possessing a controlled or prescription drug.

A WA Police Force spokesperson said the size of the methylamphetamine seizure indicates a broader drug syndicate is likely to be involved.
“Our investigation into the origin of the 3kg of methylamphetamine is continuing," the spokesperson said.
“While yesterday’s arrests are significant, they are only the beginning of what will be an extensive investigation into the origin of the seized drugs, as well as their intended destination. There is clearly a broader network of criminal associates involved and we are committed to identifying who they are and bringing them to justice.”
