Police are hunting a man who grabbed a woman's handbag and dragged her down a set of stairs at a Mandurah business.
Around 4.20pm on August 5, the woman was at the business on Pinjarra Road when she heard a noise downstairs.
An unknown man forced entry into the building before rushing up the flight of stairs and grabbing the woman's handbag.
The woman held onto the handbag to try and stop it from being stolen but was pulled down the stairs as the man fled.
She received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Peel Health Campus.
Police say her injuries have left her unable to walk for the foreseeable future.
Detectives have released CCTV footage and are seeking to identify the person pictured.
Anyone with any information relating to the incident, or who saw any suspicious activity on Pinjarra Road around the time of the incident, or has dash-cam footage of the area, is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
