Police are urging anyone living in the Wellard area to keep an eye out for a missing 21-year-old man.
Jin Hee Chong was last seen near Cockburn Central around 2.40pm on Thursday but police believe he could now be further south in an area bounded by the Kwinana Freeway east to King Road.
Mr Chong is autistic and non-verbal.
He is described as being approximately 165cms tall, with a slim build, and short black hair and was last seen wearing a grey polo short with blue jeans and black and white shoes .
Authorities are urging residents to check their sheds, paddocks or any other areas of shelter that he may have stayed in overnight.
Anyone who sees Mr Chong or knows of his whereabouts should call police immediately on 131 444.
