Around 400 people attended the 2019 Alcoa Peel Business Excellence Awards on the weekend.
Hosted by the Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the awards recognised the achievements of local businesses.
Eco BBQ Boats was the overall winner taking out the 2019 Peel Business of the Year, while Lockdown Security Solutions was named runner-up.
Peel Chamber of Commerce and Industry General Manager Andrew McKerrell said the awards were a huge success for the Peel business community.
"It’s great to see that even in tough and uncertain economic times, our business community can strive, adapt and thrive, which has been proven by the diversity of our finalists, runners up and category winners," he said.
"The Chamber would like to thank all who were involved for their support, from the generous sponsors and partners, to the judges, entrants and event suppliers.
"The results of the 2019 Alcoa Peel Business Excellence Awards are clear – Business in the Peel has a very bright future ahead."
