Police are looking for a woman who allegedly spat in a security guard's face while attempting to steal a trolley full of stolen items at Rockingham Shopping Centre.
Two security guards were called to the retail store around 8.20pm on August 12 after reports a woman was leaving the store with a trolley loaded with packets of unpaid items.
When confronted by the officers, the woman allegedly spat in the face of one of the guards and pushed the other away from the trolley before grabbing one packet and walking off.
Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman is described as brown skinned, slim build, between 25 to 30 years of age, with reddish brown hair tied up into a bun on top of her head.
She was wearing a black hooded top with white print on the front.
Anyone who can identify the woman is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
