Did you know that just 50 grams of milk chocolate can be toxic to a small dog? And it gets worse — hot cross buns are dangerous too! Those innocent little buns are packed with sultanas and raisins, which can cause kidney failure in dogs. Who knew baked goods could be so villainous?
The RSPCA is reminding pet owners to keep all the Easter goodies far from furry snouts... that includes chocolate, buns, and anything sugar-free with xylitol.
So this Easter, keep the Easter Chocolate and Hot Cross Buns to yourself.
Your pets will thank you — and you'll avoid a very expensive vet bill. 🐾🚫🍫🍞
