Today is World Refugee Day - the international day to honour people forced to flee their home country due to persecution or conflict.
Together, we can champion their right to seek safety, build support for their economic and social inclusion, and advocate for solutions to their plight.

There are many famous refugees - who without the safety of a neighbouring country may have been lost to the wars that they escaped from.
Scientist and Mathematician Albert Einstein - who had to flee Germany in 1933.
Madelaine Albright who fled Czechoslovakia during World War II.
Mila Kunis fled to America from Ukraine.
British singer Rita Ora sought solace in England from Kosovo (then named).
In Australia, comedian and artist Ahn Dho arrived at age three with his family on a small fishing boat with 47 other Vietnamese refugees.
But our favourite famous refugee is Freddie Mercury, whose family fled the Zanzibar Revolution in the 60s and were taken in by England.
Could you imagine a world without the music of Freddie Mercury... a world without Queen? Nope. Neither could we!!
