The 2025 Emmy nominations are in, and it’s a battle of the heavyweights!
Apple TV+’s Severance leads the charge with a whopping 27 nominations, including Best Drama.
Not far behind, The Penguin - HBO’s dark and gritty spin-off starring Colin Farrell - scored 24 nods, topping the Limited Series category.
The White Lotus and The Studio also impressed, each stacking up 23 nominations.
Expect tight races in both drama and limited series this year, with Andor, The Pitt, and Adolescence also all in the mix.
And Aussie’s own Cate Blanchett was nominated for Best Actress in a comedy series for her role in Disclaimer.
The 77th Primetime Emmys air September 14th.

This joins Nintendo’s growing film slate, with Mario 2 set for April 2026 and a live-action Zelda dropping May 2027.
Prime’s dramatic romance - The Map that Leads to You - is a movie that centres around a young woman’s European adventure which takes a turn when she meets Jack, sparking an unexpected emotional journey neither of them saw coming.
