Terence Stamp, the legendary English actor best known for playing the villain General Zod in the original Superman films, has died at the age of 87.

His family confirmed his passing on Sunday.

Born in London, Stamp’s career began in the 1960s with an Oscar-nominated role in Billy Budd.


He went on to star in Superman and Superman II, creating one of cinema’s most iconic villains.


He also starred as Bernadette in Aussie’s cult classic The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

A true talent, his legacy spans stage, film, television, and even writing.

Kevin Hart is teaming up with Netflix for a new stand-up comedy competition series.

Launching in 2026, the eight-episode show will see Hart and other comedy legends mentor rising comics through challenges inspired by the grind of life on stage. The series is still untitled, with no premiere date set. 


Timothée Chalamet is stepping into the world of 1950s ping pong in his latest film Marty Supreme.

The movie tells the story of Marty Mauser, a hustler who fights his way to greatness in the unlikely sport, inspired by real-life champion Marty Reisman.

The film blends high-energy drama, retro style, and grit, with an eclectic cast including Gwyneth Paltrow, Fran Drescher, Tyler the Creator, and even Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, Marty Supreme hits cinemas Christmas Day.


Netflix transformed Sydney’s Cockatoo Island into “Wednesday Island” for a major fan event led by Jenna Ortega and Tim Burton.

Fans were treated to gothic pop-ups, cast appearances, and the big surprise - Gwendoline Christie is returning in Season 2.

Part 1 is already streaming with 50 million views, while Part 2 lands September 3.
