Australian Radio Icon, John Laws has passed away at 90.

Known affectionately as the ‘Golden Tonsils’, he was considered the voice of Australia, who spent 71 remarkable years on air.
He challenged, entertained and connected millions with his fearless commentary, and that unmistakeable presence. 

More than just a broadcaster, John was a cultural landmark... interviewing 17 Prime Ministers, shaping public debate and leaving an indelible mark on Australian radio.

At home, he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather… and lived a life in health and good spirits, right until the end.

The White Stripes, Soundgarden, & Cyndi Lauper were among this year’s rock & Roll hall of Fame inductees.

The 2025 Ceremony took place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, celebrating a diverse class that also included joe Cocker, Warren Zevon, Salt N Pepa and Outakast.

Cyndi Lauper was introduced by rising pop star Chappell Roan, who honoured Lauper’s trail blazing impact on music…


Lauper gave a moving acceptance speech.


And Avril Lavigne joined her on stage to have some fun. 

Michelle Pfeiffer stars in Prime Videos Christmas movie Oh. What. Fun.

The festive flick centres on Claire, who plans a special Christmas but is forgotten by her family… so she decides to give them some space, until they realise - Mum really is the heart of the home.
