The 2025 ARIA Awards were on last night in Sydney, celebrating the Australian music industry.
Amyl and the Sniffers took out the big win... Album of Year.
They also took home, Best Rock Album Best, Best Group, & Best Cover Art for their album Cartoon Darkness.
Ninajirachi won three awards from a leading eight nominations this year… best solo artist, best independent release and Michael Gudinskis’ Break Through Artist.
Song of the Year went to The Kid LAROI with Girls.
Best Australian Live Act went to Perth’s own Troye Sivan
Missy Higgins delivered a beautiful piano driven performance of one of the songs from The Second Act, her brutally honest album about divorcing her husband.
Then seconds later, she was back on stage to accept the award for Best Adult Contemporary Album.
Daniel Johns made a rare video appearance and inducted You Am I Into the Aria Hall of Fame. PLAY GRAB 41
And Best International Artist went to… Taylor Swift.
