Sir Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood have confirmed they will be returning to middle earth to reunite as Gandalf and Frodo in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum, which centres on Aragorn's early adventures as a ranger and his obsession with hunting Gollum .
The highly anticipated prequel will be produced by Sir Peter Jackson and directed by Andy Serkis - who also plays Gollum - and is set to start shooting in May for a late 2027 release.
Nick Reiner’s arraignment in the murder case of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, has been delayed after his high-profile defence attorney abruptly withdrew from the case yesterday, saying circumstances beyond his control made it impossible to continue.
