Sad news for the Australian music industry, with Bernie Lynch, founding member of Eurogliders, passing away after a battle with cancer. He was 65.
A guitarist and songwriter, Lynch helped create some of the band’s biggest hits, including the iconic Heaven (Must Be There), a standout of the Aussie music scene in the 80s.
Bandmate, Grace Knight paid tribute, describing their time together as a “wonderful, wonderful journey.”
A big loss for Australian music, with a legacy that will live on.
