Sad news this morning with the passing of Australian TV host Mel Schilling.
The much-loved dating expert from Married at First Sight, passed away at the age of 54 following a brave battle with colon cancer.
With her diagnosis in 2023, Mel became a strong advocate for early screening and symptoms.
Schilling recently revealed the illness had become terminal after spreading to her brain, but continued working through much of her treatment and was widely admired for her honesty, compassion, and strength.
She’s being remembered as a guiding voice on the show, a beautiful mother and wife, and a woman who touched many lives both on and off screen.
