The AFL Season has only just kicked off, and we already have our pre-game entertainment locked in for the AFL Grand Final in September!!
None other than our own pop icon Kylie Minogue.
The announcement marks a huge moment for local music, with Minogue becoming one of the biggest Australian acts to take the stage at the MCG in recent years. She’ll follow in the footsteps of global stars like Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg, but fans are excited to see homegrown talent back in the spotlight.
It’s shaping up to be a massive pre-game show - and a very Aussie way to kick off footy’s biggest day.
From Kylie to Tay Tay and she has absolutely dominated the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards, taking home seven wins from nine nominations - extending her record as the most awarded artist in the show’s history.
Her success was driven by her latest album The Life of a Showgirl and hit single The Fate of Ophelia, picking up major awards including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Pop Album of the Year, which she dedicated to her fiancé Travis Kelce making their first official appearance out since they got engaged.
