From now until December 22nd, there are a series of events happening around Mandurah celebrating Mandurah’s diverse community and to promote access and inclusion for all!

In celebration of International Day of People with Disability, The City of Mandurah are running a series of workshops, events and exhibitions, including:

- Access for All Workshop - Learn how to develop accessible documents
@ Lakelands Library - 25th November, 10.30am to 1.30pm

- Employer Workshop - A new way of employing people with a disability. Breakfast included
@ Seashells Conference Room - 2nd December, 7.30am to 9am

- Wide Angle Film Festival - Light lunch included
@ Mandurah Performing Arts Centre - 3rd December, 10am to 1pm

- Selfie Community Art Project Art Exhibition - facilitated by Ability Arts and art display by the Unsteady Hand Group
@ Mandurah Performing Arts Centre - 3rd to 22nd December, 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday

- This Bay is Someone’s Day - Check out the colourful ACROD parking bay at Mandurah Forum helping to raise awareness of ACROD parking
@ Mandurah Forum - From 3rd December

- Story Time at Libraries - Featuring stories about diversity, inclusion and disability awareness. Check regular session times at mandurah.wa.gov.au
@ Mandurah Libraries - 30th November to 4th December

- "Our Bobbled Headed Nana" Book Launch - Enjoy a children’s book about being a grandparent who has Parkinson’s Disease
@ Lakelands Library and Community Centre - 5th December, 11am to 12 noon

- Fishability Come and Try Session
@ Mandurah Performing Arts Centre boardwalk - 3rd December, 10am to 2pm

- Inclusive Sports Day by Midway Sports - activities and demonstrations for all abilities. Drinks and sausage sizzle provided
@ Meadow Springs Sporting Facility - 3rd December, 10am to 2pm
