On Sunday 24th October, Wise Moves Yoga in Falcon are hosting a fundraising event for not-for-profit organisation, No Pup Cleft Behind.
No Pup Cleft behind are a local, small non-for profit start-up with a dedicated team of volunteers that perform around the clock care for puppies who are born with a cleft palate.
If puppies owners don't seek the necessary medical treatment, these puppies will most likely suffer a slow death due to starvation. A puppy with a cleft palate is unable to form and hold a suction on their mother's nipple to draw down the milk, no matter how hard they try. If they do perchance succeed in getting any milk into their mouth, they then run the risk of suffocation, sinusitis or pneumonia.
Unless, of course, there is a dedicated rescue service like No Pup Cleft Behind, who take these small fur babies into care and make sure they live an amazing, healthy life!
Enjoy easy yoga and loads of puppy cuddles, with all proceeds going to the care and surgeries for puppies born with cleft palate!
