Construction is underway on a new pump track in Byford.
The $1.34 million project, funded by the State Government, is being built at Briggs Park.
It will feature the main pump track, jump lines, shade shelters and seating, and once complete will meet growing demand for the recreational activity in the area.
"A pump track in Byford has been strongly supported by residents seeking different recreation opportunities close by, so we're really excited to be supporting this project," Sport and Recreation Minister Rita Saffioti said.
"The pump track will be popular with young families and children of all ages, and I look forward to seeing the completed works later this year."
Margaret River contractor Common Ground Trails Pty Ltd has been awarded the contract to undertake the works, which are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
