A crash has caused a gas leak in Shoalwater.
Firefighters were called out to the incident on Safety Bay Road near the intersection of Otway Place around 2am on Sunday.
It's understood a vehicle crashed into a light pole and damaged a gas main.
ATCO, Western Power and Police also attended.
The gas leak is now contained and under control.
It is now safe for people living near Safety Road and Liverpool Street, Otway Place and Frederick Street, Safety Bay Road and Afon Avenue to leave their homes.
