The Drug and Firearm Squad have descended on a home in Meadow Springs.
Police first arrived at the property on Canterbury Terrace around 2pm on Thursday to conduct a search warrant and remained at the scene for over 17 hours, leaving just before 7.30am on Friday.
Neighbours have told 7News that a woman was arrested at the home and a family with young children live at the address.
Police say inquiries are ongoing and there is no risk to public safety.
