A 68-year-old Dudley Park man has avoided jail time after he indecently assaulted seven of his female carers.
Brian John Odlum appeared in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Thursday for sentencing after a trial earlier this year convicted him of seven counts of indecent assault and four counts of common assault.
Odlum, who is confined to a wheelchair after contracting polio at a young age, inappropriately touched and assaulted seven victims between 2018 and 2023.
The court heard he personally selected his carers, aged in their late teens and early 20s, using NDIS funding.
Odlum was handed a suspended 12-month prison term and fined $2000.
