An 84-year-old man remains in a serious condition at Royal Perth Hospital after he was brutally assaulted outside of his East Cannington home.
It is believed the man went to investigate a disturbance at the front of his house on Henry Street around 7pm when he was attacked.
He suffered serious head and facial injuries.
A series of disturbance and damage complaints were reported to police between 6pm and 8.00pm on Derisleigh Street, Henry Street, Burge Way, Railway Parade and Central Terrace.
