An elderly man has been knocked unconscious during a terrifying home invasion in Dudley Park.
** UPDATE: Three juvenile males were taken into custody on Monday evening, and are assisting police with their inquiries. **
Between 2am and 3am on Saturday, the victim, aged in his 80s, was woken by an unknown number of offenders who were searching through various rooms in his Denham Street home.
"Upon getting out of bed to investigate, the victim received a blow to the back of the head causing him to lose consciousness," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"The victim regained consciousness some time later to find his home had been ransacked."
The man was taken to Peel Health Campus for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
