Mandurah Detectives have charged a man after an incident on Mandurah Terrace on Sunday 19 December 2021.
It will be alleged the victim, a male in his 30s, and the accused were involved in a verbal altercation whilst walking on Mandurah Terrace towards Pinjarra road.
It will be further alleged the accused punched the victim in the face before leaving the area without rendering assistance to the victim.
A 39-year-old man from Halls Head has been charged with one count of Grievous Bodily Harm and is due to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on 4 January 2022.
Inquiries into the matter are ongoing, and detectives are calling for anyone that may have witnessed the alleged incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
