Detectives are still hunting a group of people behind a terrifying home invasion in Silver Sands at the weekend.
A man in his 50s was assaulted by an unknown number of offenders who broke into his home on Seawind Drive just before 4pm on Saturday afternoon.
It's understood a weapon was used in the assault.
The victim was taken to Peel Health Campus with head and facial injuries.
