The Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale actor passed away after suffering from a stroke.
Luke Perry suffered a major stroke last Wednesday and had been in an induced coma ever since.
His publicist confirmed his death earlier this morning.
He leaves behind his two children Jake, 21, and Sophie, 18.
They were with him at his bedside with his ex-wife Minnie Sharp and fiance Wendy Madison Bauer.
Perry suffered an earlier health scare in 2015 when pre-cancerous growths were found during a colonoscopy.
He was just 24 when he landed his breakout role in Beverly Hills 90210 playing bad boy Dylan McKay.
His most recent notable role was Fred Andrews on teen hit drama Riverdale.
Production on the show has been temporarily suspended after his shock death.
