A 27-year-old man has been charged over the alleged assault of a boy in Greenfields.
The man allegedly chased the 13-year-old victim before knocking him off his bicycle and assaulting him in a car park on Lakes Road around 5.20pm on Tuesday, May 19.
The accused then allegedly stole the boy's bike and fled the area.
"As a result of inquiries, police identified the man and he was arrested on Thursday 21 May 2026," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"The bicycle has since been recovered by police and returned to the victim."
The Greenfields man has been charged with common assault in circumstances of aggravation or racial aggravation and stealing.
He is due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on June 16.
