A man has been taken into custody in Waikiki.
The accused was seen jumping fences and running through backyards near Gnangara Drive around 8am.
The police helicopter was called in to help officers on the ground locate the man.
He was arrested on Mornington Boulevard a short time later and is likely to be charged with trespass.
