WA Police continue their investigation into how a 30-day-old child received life threatening injuries in Gosnells.
Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 25-year-old man as part of their investigation into the incident.
The newborn was taken by family to Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital on Friday night, September 4 just before midnight.
Police believe the child sustained the injuries at her Gosnells home.
She remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The Gosnells man, who is related to the child, has since been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm.
He is due to reappear in the Armadale Magistrates Court today.
