A 30-year-old man has been charged after allegedly setting a car on fire in Parmelia.
Emergency services were called to a home on Meares Avenue around 10.35pm on December 22 following reports a black Subaru Impreza sedan was alight in the driveway.
Firefighters attended and extinguished the blaze, but the vehicle was destroyed.
A second car parked in front of the Subaru suffered minor damage.
Following an investigation, detectives have since charged a 30-year-old North Coogee man with criminal damage by fire, unlawful damage and two counts of made a threat to unlawfully do an act.
He is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Monday April 8, 2024.
