A 47-year-old man has been charged over the alleged indecent dealing of an 11-year-old girl at the Warnbro Train Station.
The man allegedly committed the offence around midday on January 13, 2023.
The young girl reported the incident to police and detectives arrested and charged the man on January 31.
"Upon further investigation of the man’s activities, it will be alleged between October 2022 and February 2023, the man who was dressed in tight lycra type clothing like bicycle shorts, tights or body suits, committed indecent acts at various public places including cafes, restaurants, parks, on public transport, and train stations across the metropolitan area including Baldivis, Rockingham and Scarborough," a WA Police spokesperson said.
Some of the alleged incidents were recorded on the man's phone.
The 47-year-old Baldivis man has been charged with one count of indecent dealing with a child under 13 years and 17 counts of indecent acts in public.
He is due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
