The streets of Mandurah's city centre will come alive with colour, creativity and carols on Friday with the Christmas Pageant rolling through town.
There will be 38 floats travelling along the Eastern Foreshore from 6pm, which have been put together by local businesses and community groups.
From 7pm there will be live entertainment, an interactive nativity scene and Santa’s letter workshops, with Santa's Grotto to open at 7.30pm.
The fireworks display will then start at 8.30pm.
The free community event is accessible to all, and is expected to draw a crowd of around 25,000 people.
Road and water closures, including the Mandurah Bridge, will be in place from 5pm until 9pm.

Christmas lights and decorations have also been installed around the City Centre, and the community is invited to wander through the Christmas Lights Trail.
