The City of Mandurah has extended the fire ban for the region.
The Chief Bush Fire Control Officer for the City has advised that due to extremely high winds, permits to burn will not be issued and existing permits are suspended effective immediately.
Any existing fires are to be extinguished immediately.
The ban has been extended until Monday.
