Mandurah's Bo Allan has been suspended following his debut game for the West Coast Eagles.
Allan was cited for striking Melbourne veteran Jack Viney in a marking contest during their 32-point loss to the Demons at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.
It was deemed carless conduct, medium impact and high contact by the Match Review Officer.
West Coast have accepted the one-match ban meaning Allan will be ineligible to play against Richmond at the MCG this weekend.
The 19-year-old has had a frustrating start to the season with two separate bouts of illness delaying his debut until round eight.
