A 19-year-old Meadow Springs man has admitted to making death threats towards the Prime Minister and the New South Wales Premier.

Will James King, 19, pleaded guilty to the charge of threatening to kill in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The court heard, King sent a direct message to NSW Premier Chris Minns' Instagram account on January 14.

He was arrested later that night by State Security Investigations detectives.

The messages were read out in court.

"You're a Jew, not a real Semite," the message said, according to ABC News.

"I'll assassinate you and Albo and the country will be a better place."

King's lawyer told the court her client was not a racist and was extremely remorseful.

The court also heard King told police he did not mean for the messages to be a threat.

King will reappear in court on June 26.
