A missing 26-year-old man has been found alive after a five-day search in the South West.
Tashi Dewa, who is originally from Bhutan, went missing from his Carey Park home on Tuesday, August 12.
Serious concerns were held for his welfare.
Police, SES volunteers, local residents and members of the Bhutanese community spent days searching for Mr Dewa.
Thankfully, he was located near the Wellington Dam area on Sunday, August 17.
“Bunbury Police are pleased to advise that Mr Dewa has been located safe and will be taken to hospital for assessment,” a WA Police spokesperson said.
“Officers wish to thank the community; dozens of volunteers who joined the search effort; and media for their assistance.”
