Nearly 80 firefighters remain at the scene of an out of control blaze in Nambeelup.
A bushfire watch and act warning has been issued for people living in the area bounded by Yangedi Road, Elliott Road, Gull Road and Lakes Road.
There is still a possible threat to lives and homes as the fire is contained but not yet controlled, and conditions are changing.
No roads are closed but motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke.
Total fire bans are also in place for parts of the State, including the shires of Murray, Waroona and Serpentine-Jarrahdale as temperatures are expected to soar on Friday.
Rockingham and Pinjarra are forecast to reach 41 degrees, while Mandurah is forecast at 39C.
